At the age of 12, experimenting with family and friends, Yvette started her journey. Family members from the experimental years may have horror stories to tell, but those days are long gone. Unlike alot of stylists, Yvette will not say that she started out as hairstyling being her ultimate goal, yet it was always there. Finally giving in to the calling Yvette has mastered the art of hairstyling and she loves it!
Hair is her life. Yvette loves competing, she is a published stylist, beauty educator and a highly sought after hair artist. She dreams of styles and styling hair. Yvette is the founder of The Baddest Barber Battle, a competition held in Fayetteville, NC. She is also the founder of the Beauty Industry Suite & Expo, which was created to bring professionals of the beauty industry together to network within the industry and to be introduced to consumers. And the consumers are also a part of the expo, they are introduced to the industry in a very unique way. The Natural Hair Symposium, which helps naturalistas understand their GOD given hair. As if all of this isn't enough, Yvette has embarked upon the mission to tell the story of the beauty industry with the web series called "Beauty Zone". Stay tuned for that!
